I've been somewhat lazy about Apple's meals. Just standard baby food (organic) and some of whatever we're eating. I kept putting off making my own food, and finally purchased Super Baby Food. Then I left the book at my mom's. So remembering some of the author's tips, I make a completely disgusting breakfast that my baby ate.
Steamed Cauliflower (I use my rice cooker)
Add some water and cinnamon to blender and blend
Freeze in ice cube trays
One cube in oatmeal and heat in microwave (I waited 15 minutes before giving to her and even had it in the freezer, and don't forget to stir stir stir, to move around hot spots)
Feed to baby
She ate half of it fine, then each spoonful of the other half got dipped in yogurt. Voila, a serving (or 2) of vegetables
